I was thinking about Fame recently.
Why don't we have movies like THAT anymore?
Just fantasticness and gloriousness.

When I was in high school, my choral teacher brought in some sheet music one day and I remember everyone laughing when they saw the title, "Sing the Body Electric." What the hell is that supposed to mean? How does one sing a body electric? I smiled though. I knew about looking back on venus and mars. And I knew that in time, we'd all be stars.

I was always a fan of "Fame." The movie AND the TV show. So when she handed us the sheet music for the most glorious finale ever, I got excited. I think we may have even sung it at my high school graduation. I don't really remember WHAT the occasion was or which year we sang it...I just know that I loved it.

If you have the patience, the best part of the whole thing is the break down around minute 3:45. Fantastic.
